FRB10/270 SKF Locating RingA bearing in the locating position must be secured axially in the housing. If the bearing seat in the housing and the bearing width do not match, locating (stabilizing) rings are required. Typically, two locating rings are required per housing. One ring should be placed on each side of the bearing. If only one locating ring is required, it should be installed on the same side as the lock nut.

Superior construction & reasonable cost!

I had one old picture that was this odd size. I didn't want to spend a fortune, and this fit the price. When it came I was so impressed with the quality. Not glass, but I love the ease of construction with swinging tabs that held the back on instead of those cheap flat pegs you can't get back in the holes.. Excellant, superior. I love it! I hope it comes in more normal sizes as well, like 8x10, 11x14, 16x20 even!
