The colors are exactly what I was wanting. A dark brown with the added black. It is so soft and the fur has a long pile. Has a perfect weight to it. Makes a great cozy throw for Winter nights. This blanket is generously sized and soft. I deducted one star because a small portion of the furry side came out matted after washing. It isn't really noticeable but something to be aware of. Probably best dried on low heat.
